As 2014 comes to an end…

untitled

As 2014 comes to an end, I’m reminded of what is most important and what I am thankful for. I’ve learned so much this past year. A lot about myself, life, God and everything in between, but more importantly how to be happy. I learned that nothing in this world is more important than love, laughter, and happiness. The look my son gives me when he is proud, the way I can make my sweetheart laugh from his toes, and the way I touch lives every day doing God’s work. Not the things I have or money, nothing in the physical. None of that I can take with me. I’m appreciative of so many blessings God has given to me. My health, my son, my strength and will. God made me a force to be reckoned with, my driven attitude to prepare me for what I’ve gone through already and will go through in my journey.

With 2015 approaching, I’m anxiously awaiting to receive all the gifts and blessings God has in store for me. To make the most of this life the best way I know how, living in the moment, the present, with no regrets, no hesitation. We all have one life to live, we live in these temporary vessels we call our bodies, learning His promise and making a difference in the lives of others. I intend to cherish every second. Make the most of this life, make someone smile, hold someone in need, buy the guy behind you a coffee, be a listening ear, be a mentor, a teacher, forget moving up the corporate ladder, stop struggling to pay for that brand new car, and don’t worry that you won’t have enough. We all have enough. Just look and listen.

Happy New Year everyone!!
