How you you save money on food?
Friday I said that I would post this the next day, however I decided I probably will not blog on the weekends. My attention is needed elsewhere (family) and to sit down and type something of quality would bring myself, and possibly the people around me, great stress.
I have a few tricks that I use when feeding our family on $100 a week. Some are obvious, but hopefully a couple you haven’t seen around on the web.
1. Meat Tricks –
Chicken – Cut your chicken breasts in half. For our family of six, 4 halves feeds everyone. I used to fix 5 whole breasts and have leftovers that went into the fridge to eventually be thrown away a couple days later.
