DIY Stone Candle Holder for $3

Hello Lovelies,

While at Dollar Tree, I found some stones in a neutral color pallette. I decided take a candle stick combined with a small fishbowl to create an inexpensive vase which make a tall candle holder.

You will need:

  • Small glass bowl, fishbowl, or cylinder
  • 4″ glass candlestick
  • Super Glue such as E6000
  • Bag of stones or gems

Glue the stones on the bowl positioning them like you’re playing a game of Tetris. Alternating sizes throughout.

Glue the bottom of the bowl on the candlestick. Then all you need are yummy smelling votive candles! This project cost $3 plus tax. I love how it looks and it fits perfectly against a white or cream colored wall because of the neutral stones and the shadow it casts. The spaces between the stones allow muted candlelight through. I ended up putting it on a tall armoire near our entryway. It’s so pretty when lit.
